Quattro Formaggi is a fusion group floating among the borders of jazz funk and latino groove. Arose up about 2000 in the north of Moravia in Czech republic. It`s members have fluently alternated themeselves during it`s growing up. They started to migrate all over Czech republic and on the field of "night live & Rock&Roll" they discussed with other musicians and then.....crystallized the contemporary sound and shape of this band. Presently under the bassist Michael Krasny is the group inspirated by modern directions (Mike Stern, Richard Bona, Pat Metheny, Joe Zawinul,...) and is trying to bring jazz music near to less demanding listeners too. Marek Prokop (soprano sax, alto sax, flute), Jan Johnny Bálek (keyboards), Jan Dvořák (drums), Michael Krásný(bass guitar). Their music is based on jazz latin groove and funk music inspirated by contemporary modern jazz. It is fusion of all these styles matted by characteristic enthusiastic improvisation.
